Robert C. Fleming - Co-Founder, General Partner, Prism Venture Partners (Board Member)

Robert Fleming has been a venture capitalist for more than 18 years and has served as a director for numerous venture-backed companies. Prior to co-founding Prism, he was a General Partner with Norwest Venture Capital. Prior to Norwest, Fleming served as General Partner with the Vista Group for eight years, where he managed two Vista-affiliated funds, Vista Ventures III, L.P. and Orien Ventures II, L.P.

Fleming has invested in many industry-leading companies during his career, such as RF Micro Devices (wireless components), Agile Networks (network equipment), Network Equipment Technologies (networking multiplexers), EPiCON (application delivery software) and IceFyre Semiconductor (wireless components).

Prior to entering the venture capital industry, Fleming was an early employee at the Gartner Group, which was then a venture-backed start-up. He founded and managed Gartner's Local-Area Communications consulting practice, consulted at Booz, Allen & Hamilton and designed data communications equipment for Dataproducts New England.

Fleming holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School and a B.A. in Engineering Sciences cum laude from Dartmouth College.
