Dr. Kamyar Ghandi - Vice President of Research and Development

As Vice President of R&D of Polatis, Dr. Ghandi is responsible for the company's R&D division, as well as managing Engineering Operations for the North American office.

As co-founder and vice president of R&D at Continuum Photonics, Kamyar was primary inventor for many of Continuum's early products. Dr. Ghandi is a specialist in the active control of structures and deformable optical systems using MEMs and smart material technologies. He has extensive experience in electronics and integrated systems design, and is a co-inventor of Continuum's patented electronics technology. Dr. Ghandi holds a PhD and MS from MIT in the Department of Aeronautics & Astronautics and a BS from the University of Toronto.
